由操作系统提供语音服务。朗读文本会传递给系统语音引擎，但不会发送给本扩展的开发者。
具体处理方式亦受 Google / 操作系统隐私政策约束。
本扩展不请求访问网页内容、浏览历史或远程服务器的权限。所需能力仅限于扩展弹窗内的本地文件处理与语音播放。
扩展内嵌以下开源库，均在本地运行，不会因此向开发者服务器发送您的文件内容：
本扩展不面向 13 岁以下儿童主动收集信息，也不会 knowingly 收集儿童个人数据。
若本政策有更新，我们会修改本页面顶部的「最后更新」日期。重大变更时，可能在扩展更新说明中另行提示。

Smart File Reader is a Chrome extension that parses documents locally on your device and reads them aloud using system text-to-speech. We respect your privacy. This policy explains how the extension handles — and does not handle — your information.
We do not collect, upload, or sell any personal data. The extension has no backend server, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking.
To remember your preferences, the extension saves the following settings in browser localStorage (on your device only):
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension or clear browser data.
Files you open or drag into the extension (TXT, MD, DOCX, PDF, CSV, JSON, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to any server operated by us. Extracted text is used only for preview and reading inside the extension and is not written to disk unless you copy or export it yourself.
Reading uses Chrome TTS (chrome.tts) or the browser speechSynthesis API, provided by your operating system.
Text is sent to the system speech engine, not to the extension developer. Processing is also subject to Google’s and your OS provider’s policies.
The extension does not request access to web page content, browsing history, or remote hosts. It only operates within the extension popup for local file handling and playback.
